Like many in the Animation and VFX industries I have been drawing seriously for as long as I can remember, but during my training in the 2 year traditional animation program at Capilano College my skills grew in leaps and bounds. The biggest contributor to this growth was the extensive life-drawing component of the course, but every aspect of my training there, from Animation to basic color theory, storyboarding, perspective, and Character and layout design, has hugely impacted my abilities and perspective in my work.
